Inspirational messages can do more for us than just give us a mild lift to our mood.
They can motivate us to do more and achieve more.
Some are meant to be taken literally; others not so much, but the connecting thread of all inspiration messages is to give us hope…to remember that there is good out there in the world and we can do even a small thing in order to help to raise the good higher and become inspired.
So without further ado, I hope that you read some of the motivational quotes below and can find inspiration in your lives to amazing things 🙂
It’s not the destination, but the journey that can help us to become better people.
You can spend years and years trying to get to a position you think will make you happy, such as being rich and so on, only to wake up 30 years later and still poor but with a trail of loss in your wake.
Stepping out of your comfort zone can enable you to feel a whole raft of emotions that you never knew or have ever felt before.
For example, in this poem you can see that all emotions should be welcomed in as they often signal something new.
The same as the first quote.
If you only focus on the result, you will miss so much more that there is to life!
How well can you adapt to change.
I will readily admit that I am not the most flexible when it comes to changing what I like.
However I know that it is well worth it…even failure is not emptiness.
Kind of like one of my favorite Marilyn Monroe quotes.
Essentially, live like there is no tomorrow, (within reason of course!), and try not to dwell on things.
Even if someone throws your kindess back at you and spits in your face; the right thing to do is the right thing to do.
One philosopher who I occasionally read, Immanuel Kant, came to the conclusion that doing the right, moral thing, is not always what it seems. (Critique of Practical Reason)
Leave a comment below, but think hard before you jump to an answer…it is not as simple as it seems in the first instance!
How much desire do you have to get what you want.
Whilst this quote seems to contradict the ones above about enjoying the journey, I don’t actually think that they are mutually exclusive.
Imagination is the foundation of everything.
They say necessity is the mother of invention, but I might argue that imagination is.
I have included this quote becuase I don’t really agree with it so much.

We never know when death will greet us.
This is quite well known and has been around the internet a few times, but it is still as poignant as ever.
I am happy for my family, I am excited about what the future holds.
Emotion is a strong feeling.
I have many memories of my late grandfather, in which I can’t remember his words exactly, but I rember the sense of awe he always left me in.
He was a chemist and even wrote a book about how to weigh the world, just for fun!
This is 100% true for me and I suspect that it is also the same for many of you reading this now, right?
Everyone is meant for something.
I don’t really beleive in a mystacl force that is meant only for humans, but anything that wants something, must succeed in getting it.
From the lowliest bacteria wanting to multiply, to the greatest mind wanting to help humanity.
